UGC and IP Infringement Policy
Effective Date: November 2, 2026
This UGC and IP Infringement Policy (this “Policy”) supplements the Global Terms of Service and any applicable service-specific terms and governs relevant user and creator activity.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to all UGC submitted to the Service and supplements the Global Terms of Service. The Community Guidelines also apply to relevant UGC.
Capitalized terms not defined in this Policy have the meanings given to them in the Global Terms of Service or the applicable service-specific terms.
2. User Rights and Responsibility
Users retain their rights in UGC and warrant that they hold all necessary rights and permissions and that the UGC does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.
3. Service License
Except where the applicable Service-Specific Terms provide otherwise, and subject to any separate notice, consent, or user-control requirements under applicable law, users grant Supercent a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, transmit, display, format, translate, caption, create thumbnails, search, recommend, distribute, analyze, process, and otherwise use the UGC to operate, provide, improve, develop, and promote the Service, including for promotional use outside the Service, use in paid advertising creatives, and the training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and improvement of artificial intelligence and machine-learning models used by or on behalf of Supercent.
The license is subject to applicable law and any additional notice, consent, or authorization requirements that may apply to a particular use.
4. AI Training and Additional Requirements
Except where the applicable Service-Specific Terms provide otherwise, and subject to any separate notice, consent, or user-control requirements under applicable law, the license granted under Section 3 includes the use of UGC to train, fine-tune, evaluate, test, and improve artificial intelligence and machine-learning models used by or on behalf of Supercent.
Where applicable law requires separate notice, consent, or other authorization for AI model training or another particular use of UGC, Supercent will provide such notice or obtain such consent or authorization as required. Additional information regarding the processing of personal data is provided in the Privacy Policy.
The duration, survival, and limitations of the UGC license are governed by Section 8 of the Global Terms of Service and any applicable Service-Specific Terms. Nothing in this Policy overrides an express exclusion or restriction applicable to private conversation content.
5. Rights to Be Cleared
Users must clear all rights in video, music, scripts, games, code, marks, characters, performances, likenesses, voices, personal information, locations, and third-party material. Users must ensure that the rights and permissions they obtain are sufficient for the uses of UGC permitted under the Global Terms of Service, any applicable Service-Specific Terms, and this Policy, including promotional, advertising, and AI model training uses where applicable.
6. Joint Works and Employment
Users must obtain any necessary approval before submission if co-creators, agencies, employers, clients, or other platforms may own or control relevant rights.
7. Prohibited UGC
Users may not submit UGC that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, invasive of privacy, contains non-consensual synthetic content, or otherwise violates the Community Guidelines.
8. Notice Requirements
A rights notice should identify the claimant, the protected work or right, the location of the challenged UGC, the basis of ownership or authority, a statement of good-faith belief, and a signed statement of accuracy.
Rights notices may be submitted to Supercent at help@supercent.io, except that DMCA notices and counter-notices under Section 13 must be submitted to the designated DMCA agent specified in that Section.
9. Interim Action and Notice
Supercent may temporarily disable, remove, or restrict UGC upon a sufficiently specific notice or actual knowledge of a violation and may notify the uploader. Notice may follow urgent action where necessary to prevent harm or comply with applicable law.
10. Response and Restoration
The uploader may provide ownership records, licenses, or a written response. Supercent may restore the UGC, maintain restrictions, or request additional information after considering the submissions and applicable law.
11. Repeat Infringers
Supercent may restrict uploads, monetization, or accounts for repeated infringement or a serious infringement, considering valid notices, responses, severity, and repetition.
12. Revenue Holds
Revenue associated with disputed UGC may be held during review. Adjustments for infringement, refunds, or third-party payments are governed by the Monetization and Payment Policy.
13. United States Copyright Notices
DMCA notices and counter-notices relating to copyright infringement in the United States must be submitted to Supercent's designated DMCA agent as follows:
Designated Agent: Supercent Inc.
Address: 9F, 300, Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul, 05551, Republic of Korea
Email: help@supercent.io
14. European Economic Area (EEA) Notices and Explanations
An European Economic Area (EEA) illegal-content notice should identify the location of the content and provide a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the content is alleged to be illegal. Where applicable, Supercent will provide the reasons for its decision, information on available appeals, and applicable dispute-resolution options.
